ilene beal foundation

The Ilene Beal Foundation was created to preserve Ilene's legacy through supporting non-profit organizations and partners whose missions resonate with Ilene's spirit and interests in areas such as, cancer research, mentorship for women, and innovators improving their local communities. 

Our team partnered with the foundation in capturing Ilene's life and spirit through the eyes of her colleagues and friends. As Ilene passed in 2015, it was important for the foundation to preserve some of the memories of community members who knew her so the foundation's grantees could better understand Ilene's story and carry on her legacy with them through their own work. We appreciated the openness of Ilene's community in sharing their stories and their passion when speaking to the remarkable woman that she had been within their own lives and to those around them.
