United Way of Connecticut states that, “Every hour of every day, people in Connecticut turn to United Way of Connecticut for help.” The help that is provided is focused on connecting individuals and families to the best possible resources available in the state. Some of these resources cover child care, shelters, basic needs, natural disasters, family and personal crises, and more. Furthermore they work with the state government to implement strategies that can lead to community impact.

With so many wonderful areas of support that United Way of Connecticut provides, we have the opportunity to tell several unique stories. Some of these stories feature more sensitive topics such as suicide prevention where our primary goal is to create a safe and comfortable space for those on camera to discuss this topic. We always want to respect those who are willing to share their stories and we are very appreciative of the trust that United Way of Connecticut shares with us in the work we do together.
