“I have to create what I believe in and what I love. And it’s not going to be for everyone and that is okay.”

Boston Fashion Week

Boston Fashion Week is a series of fashion related events that promote both established professionals and rising stars in the industry. This is an annual celebration of fashion, culture, and talent that is unique to the Greater Boston area. What makes this even more special is that they engage the local community by presenting fashion and designers as approachable and relatable.

We are proud to display the diverse talent that exists in the Boston fashion industry, especially featuring several female designers in recent projects. By focusing on each designer’s story we were able to explore their process, successes, and struggles. As a result, our audience could discover each designer’s style while gaining a larger perspective on women in business. It was our intention to pull back the curtain a bit and reveal the more human aspect of fashion design.

The Thirteen

We documented 13 designers as they displayed their work for a photoshoot to be presented at Boston Fashion Week. Over the course of three days we found moments to learn about each designer’s process and capture the end results in action. The complete film was shown during the opening night celebration of Boston Fashion Week as a way to preview who was to be featured that week and also build excitement.
